Many wealthy individuals
participate in philanthropy to make a difference in their community or to
support causes that matter to them. When a celebrity endorses and donates
to a cause it has the potential to increase that cause’s ability to raise
capital. These celebrities influence their fans to donate and bring much
needed media attention. Environmental causes are no exception to this
